Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born on August 9, 1976, from Beaumont Puy of Domme. At a young age, her dentist doctors parents and teacher mom supported her love of drama and theater. The passion for theater was the one that trumps her first desire to be an animal scientist. As a young woman the rise to fame was swift and ended with the beginning of her recognition and success. After completing her studies and acting, she appeared on the French show for spotting talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+. She won the Best Young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her professional career as an actor. Although she studied at the Institut Catholique de Paris and attended church in her youth Tautou is now averse to this upbringing, stating that she is not officially Catholic. Along with her acting career she started a modelling career. It is her turn to be the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and often called The Chanel Muse. Alongside her acting career, she has an interest in photography. She recently exhibited some images at Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival with the name Superficial. Photography of her is primarily focused on fame and celebrity and turns the camera on those who scrutinized her when she exploded in fame and fortune with Amelie in addition to self-portraits. Audrey Tautou's very first major part, playing Amelie Poulain's leading actor in Le Fabuleux d'Amelie, landed the actress international fame. Amelie gained international attention due to its success at the box office. It also received praise in award ceremonies all over the world. Amelie is the top grossing French language movie across the US. After this huge success, Tautou was later cast in many films such as British dramatics, such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de fiancailles. Also, she starred with Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
